Shen was created from the Suri reborn kit sculpted by Lillianne Breevdveld
Many hours of love and patience have gone into creating Shen a true to life adorable little boy..
I have created Shens beautiful living skin by applying many thin layers of bloomers*n* bows baby tones air dry paints, using various techniques to create subtle veining and mottling. Shen even has fine capillaries and scratches. Just like a real baby!
All of Shens coloring is on the outside so there is no risk of bruising.
Shen has full legs and ¾ arms which have been weighted with glass beads, & poly fill to give added realism.
Shen features a custom body made for him at the nursery. Shen’s body has been filled and weighted with poly fill and glass beads concealed inside a bag so they will not leek, he is not over filled and has a nice soft floppy cuddly body! His head has also been weighted so you will need to support his head just like a real baby.
Shen’s body also contains a small bag for baby powder fragranced beads
Shen's hair has been hand paint is a soft black to match his finely paint eyebrows.
Shen features lovely brown eyeco poly glass eyes framed with wispy brown hand applied top eyelashes. His eyes have been carefully glazed to give them a wet living appearance.
Shens nostrils have been shaded rather than opened. His nostrils are a nice depth so I didn’t feel a need to open his tiny little nose which can compromise the strength of the vinyl
Shens lips have been painted carefully so there are no harsh color lines, his lips have then been sealed with a stain sealer to give them a semi shine.
His nails have been shaded and tipped, then sealed with a matte varnish
I don’t feel that the pictures do this little baby any justice at all he is just so adorable
